  • Jon Hammes

    Jon is the founder and a Principal of Hammes Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee. 

    Jon founded Hammes Company Healthcare in 1993 to apply his extensive management and real estate experience to the healthcare sector, as he believed that the healthcare industry could benefit from the disciplines he employed in his previous role.  Prior to forming Hammes Company Healthcare, Jon was a Managing Partner at Trammell Crow, responsible for managing its operations in the Midwestern United States and Canada, and a member of Trammell Crow’s management board and investment arm, Trammell Crow Ventures. 

    Jon has substantial experience serving institutional investors, including in his current position of Director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and former role of Director and Chair of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, which invests the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System, the State Investment Fund and other state trust funds.  In addition, Jon is the Immediate Past Chair of the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He earned a B.B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and M.S. degree in Real Estate and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

  • Todd Kibler

    Todd is a Principal and leads the investment and financing activities for Hammes Partners.  Todd is a member of the Investment Committee.  

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Todd was a Partner with Hammes Company Healthcare and served as the company’s Chief Financial and Investment Officer.  Todd’s experience includes transactional, managerial and consultative involvement in the real estate industry, spanning virtually all product types.  Prior to joining Hammes Company, Todd was Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration for Corporex Companies, a developer and operator of commercial office, industrial, hospitality, and residential properties.  Previously, he was Vice President of Finance & Strategic Business for The Mills Corporation, a publicly traded real estate investment trust focused on the development and operation of retail centers, and other retail and entertainment operating ventures.  Todd began his real estate career with Kenneth Leventhal & Company. 

    Todd serves on the Advisory Board for Healthcare Real Estate Insights, a publication platform that covers the healthcare real estate sector with notable news, projects, and trends.  Todd is a C.P.A. and earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A., Real Estate and Finance from the University of Southern California.

  • Patrick Hammes

    Patrick is a Principal and leads the operational activities for Hammes Partners.  Patrick is a member of the Investment Committee. 

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Patrick was a Vice President in the Business Services and Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Robert W. Baird & Co.  During his time with Baird, he participated in a wide range of financial advisory transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, equity & debt offerings, valuation opinions and private placements.  He began his career as an attorney at Strasburger & Price in Dallas, Texas.  While at Georgetown University Law Center, he clerked in the General Counsel’s office of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

    Patrick serves on the board of directors for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin’s Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking and for the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He holds his B.A. in Political Science and M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and was the recipient of the Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellowship while obtaining his M.B.A.  He also earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

  • Andy Weltcheff

    Andy is a Senior Vice President and is primarily responsible for asset management activities at Hammes Partners. 

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Andy was National Director of Asset Management for Hammes.  Andy has held various other project, property and asset management positions at each of Hammes and Trammell Crow, and began working with Jon Hammes at Trammell Crow in 1986. 

    He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, is a certified property manager, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

  • Will Roberson

    Will is a Senior Vice President and is primarily involved in the investment activities of Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Will was a Vice President in the Medical Facilities Group at Health Care REIT (NYSE: HCN).  While at Health Care REIT, he transacted with hospitals, large physician practices and developers. Prior to this position, Will led the medical facilities group for General Electric’s healthcare real estate platform.  Will offers over 25 years of healthcare real estate experience. 

    He earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama.

  • Nic Horsfield

    Nic is a Vice President and is primarily involved in the investment activities of Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Nic served as Vice President for Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc.’s Global Real Estate Group where he was involved in investment restructurings, asset dispositions, underwriting and asset management.  Prior to Lehman Brothers, Nic worked for LaSalle Investment Management, where he provided valuation, budgeting and strategic planning for a $350 million separate account real estate portfolio. 

    He earned a B.B.A. in Finance, Investments & Banking and an M.B.A. in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.        

  • Justin Shea

    Justin is a Vice President and is primarily involved in the investment activities of Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Justin worked with the Acquisition and Asset Management groups at Greenfield Partners, a global real estate investment firm. His responsibilities included acquisition and management activities in various types of real estate, including healthcare, hospitality, distressed debt, and land, with responsibility for over $500 million in equity invested.  Previously, he worked with Robert W. Baird & Co. in its Investment Banking Group.  

    Justin serves on the board of directors of CurePSP, an organization supporting awareness and a cure for neurodegenerative diseases.  He earned a B.S. in Accountancy and Real Estate Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

  • Jim Hartmann

    Jim is a Vice President and is primarily involved in the development activities of Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Jim served as Vice President of Real Estate Development for Landmark Healthcare Facilities, LLC, with responsibility for development and leasing.  Prior to that role, Jim served as Tenant Development Executive and Project Manager, also with Landmark Healthcare Facilities.  During his time at Landmark, Jim was actively involved in the growth of the private fund’s portfolio from approximately 250,000 square feet to nearly 3 million square feet of Class A healthcare assets through development and acquisitions.

    He earned a B.B.A. in Finance & Real Estate and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

  • Jeffrey Ruidl

    Jeff is a Vice President and is primarily involved in the investment activities of Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Jeff was a Director at Northwestern Mutual Real Estate where he led investment activity in New York City and sourced and produced transactions in excess of $1.2 billion. He previously served as national head of underwriting and was responsible for the final valuations of all new debt and equity investments, totaling about $6 billion each year.

    Jeff serves on the Board of Trustees for Nativity Jesuit Academy and is chair of its Investment Committee. He received a B.S. in Business from Marquette University, a J.D. from Marquette University Law School, and a M.B.A. in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a CFA charterholder.

  • Amy Young

    Amy is a Vice President and is the Controller for the Firm. 

    Prior to joining the Firm, Amy spent over nine years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Her time at PricewaterhouseCoopers included serving on both public and non-public financial services audit engagements including private equity funds, retail and investment banks, insurance companies, and asset managers.  She also served in advisory roles related to accounting policy, capital market transactions and valuation. 

    She earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  She is a CPA licensed in Wisconsin and Virginia. 

  • Patrick Abeln

    Patrick is an Associate with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Patrick worked as a Research Associate at Robert W. Baird & Co.  His responsibilities included financial modeling and forecasting, publishing written reports, conducting proprietary research, and providing investment and industry perspectives to institutional investors. 

    Patrick earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Marquette University.  He is a CFA Charterholder.

  • Kyle Bentzien

    Kyle is an Associate with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Kyle was an Engagement Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Monitor Deloitte Strategy practice.  His responsibilities included advising executives on strategic growth opportunities and critical business problems.  Prior to Deloitte Consulting, Kyle worked in the Corporate Development and Investment Banking Groups at Robert W. Baird & Co. 

    Kyle earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

  • Erin Ketterhagen

    Erin is an Associate with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Erin worked as a Financial Analyst with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, providing financial modeling and deal structuring for acquisition, rehabilitation, and new construction projects.  Prior to that, she was a Real Estate Analyst for T.Wall Properties with a focus on underwriting of new and existing development opportunities.

    Erin earned a B.B.A. in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

  • Robert Mueller

    Robert is an Associate with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Robert was a Development Manager at Conor Commercial Real Estate, the development arm of The McShane Companies. His responsibilities included financial underwriting and market analysis for new developments, which included creating deal packages for investment committee and institutional equity partners as well as managing project consultants. Prior to The McShane Companies, Robert was a development manager at HSI Properties.

    Robert earned a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from Marquette University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

  • Mark Buelow

    Mark is an Associate with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Mark was a Financial Manager for JP Morgan Asset Management where he handled asset management functions for a portfolio of office and industrial buildings across the United States. His portfolio included investments with numerous joint venture structures and assets in various stages of the real estate life cycle, including development and operating. Prior to JP Morgan Asset Management, Mark worked for Acadia Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT, as well as Brookdale Senior Living.

    Mark earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from St. Norbert College.

  • Peng Dong

    Peng is an Analyst with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Peng was an Investment Analyst for Healthcare Realty Trust REIT, focused on real estate analysis and valuation modeling for acquisition, disposition, development and redevelopment opportunities. In addition, Peng evaluated debt financing and refinancing opportunities as well as lease provisions, lease forecasts and local market environmental factors.

    Peng earned a B.B.A. at Nanjing University in China and a M.S. in Finance at Vanderbilt University.

  • Zach Evers

    Zach is an Analyst with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Zach worked as a Corporate Analyst Intern for J.P. Morgan’s Healthcare Banking division, where he participated in modeling and underwriting for commercial lending programs in the healthcare industry.

    Zach earned a B.B.A. in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. 

        

  • Ajay Kumar

    Ajay is an Analyst with Hammes Partners

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Ajay worked at Morgan Stanley where he devised solutions for new trading strategies and regulatory requirements for Equity Derivative Trading Desks. Prior to that, Ajay worked for Markit where he developed analytical platforms for publication of Fixed Income Benchmark Indices.

    Ajay earned a Bachelors in Engineering from VIT University in India and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.

  • Jordyn Michaud

    Jordyn is a Transaction Coordinator with Hammes Partners.

    Prior to joining Hammes Partners, Jordyn worked as a Financial Analyst with Monarch Investment and Management Group, a Denver based firm focused on the acquisition and management of investment grade income producing properties. She performed underwriting and due diligence for acquisitions as well as assisted in the on-site management of owned assets. Prior to that, she was a senior associate at KPMG in the audit practice.

    Jordyn earned her B.S. in Accountancy and Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver. She is a CPA, licensed in Colorado.
